Il 13 dicembre 1948 nasce il chitarrista Ted Nugent
La carriera di Ted Nugent ebbe inizio nel 1965, quando fondò The Amboy Dukes. Nel 1970 avviò il proprio progetto solista col quale diventerà famoso. Durante i primi anni 1990 Nugent prese parte a un supergruppo chiamato Damn Yankees con Tommy Shaw, ex chitarrista degli Styx, e a Jack Blades, ex bassista dei Night Ranger. Durante la sua carriera è stato soprannominato: “The Motor City Madman”, “The Nuge”, “Uncle Ted”, “Terrible Ted”, “Sweaty Teddy”, “Deadly Tedly”, “Great Gonzos” e “Theodocious Atrocious”.
